There are three things a good host should never run out of: soap, fresh milk, and toilet paper. (An absolutely terrific host would have a fourth item: whisky.)
At the very least, you want to be a good host. So make sure there are extra rolls available and for goodness sake, don't stack them on the toilet tank. Get a sturdy, all-brass toilet paper holder that accommodates an extra roll or more.
