We think about shelves a lot and create handsome and sturdy brass and wood shelves. Over the years, we've expanded their capacities to include:

We Use Really Strong Ironwood for Our Shelving

We talk a lot about how brass is one tough metal. (You need a blowtorch to bend a brass rod.) So when we started designing wood shelves, we wanted to get wood that's just as sturdy.

We chose Ipe wood, a strong hardwood that comes in beautiful mahogany colors. Like brass, it's also resistant to moisture as well as rot and insects. It's used in a lot of decking projects, including boardwalks.

Toilet Paper Holders with Wood Shelves

It was almost a no-brainer to put a shelf over a toilet paper holder. We've all heard stories (and possibly experienced) phones, glasses, and other valuables slipping away and into a toilet bowl.

Yuck.

When we put wood shelves over our TP holders, people knew they were getting something special. These aren't cheap plastic shelves - as we discussed above, we use strong Ipe hardwood shelves.
